Email/Virus Scam

NOTICE: Emails sent from Camline staff include our telephone number and do NOT contain attachments unless specifically requested. Any email that (1) appears to be from Camline (2) has an attachment and (3) does not contain our telephone number SHOULD BE DELETED IMMEDIATELY.

Below is an example of such an email:.

Dear user / your account name / your email address,

Your e-mail account was used to send a huge amount of unsolicited spam messages during the recent week ...
      OR
We have temporarily suspended your email account YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS.

These emails should be deleted instantly. It is important that the attachments are not opened by the user. These emails are generated from computers that have been infected with a virus capable of going through your personal address book in search of service provider contact information, such as Camline.
